The Association closed its first year with 753 certificates issued, lost
only one member by death, [to date only two] levied only one assess
ment. A certificate of the person of the age of the deceased cost only
86 cents for SI,000, payable at death ofmember. These are facta which
prove the wisdom and economy of the protection offered its members.
The Association has become very popular and been successful in Ala-
hams, Florida, Mississippi and Texas. Some of tbe most prominent
well-known persons of these States are members, including the Gover
nors of each one. It is also meeting with great success in this State
[Georgia]. Some of the most prominent persons of this city and At
lanta have been made members of the Association.
We solicit a careful examinatiotR5f oar plans, feeling confident that it will secure! jour member
ship. Cheapness and eqnity are its leading features. For information in regard to membership, call
on or address JAMBS P HOUGH. Mason, Ga, who represents the Association in this city and State.
