arrived here yestafday from Augusts Wt

with quick dispatch. She arrived at Augusta on
Friday last, dischsrged her freight took on her

. She reports the river as being low, and stijj
falling. The steamers R. H. Hay and Gen. Ber
ry were aground at Gardner’s Bar. At half past
4 o*mek p. m. passed the steamer Oak, below
Rugg’s Bar; 5 p. m passed steamer Lear*, near
Twigg’s Bar, both bound for Augusta. Sept. 25
6 o’clock p. m. passed steamer Petit, aground
near Hersbman’s Lake. Sept. 26th, 12 m. p
steamer L. Enos, near Parachucla, bound to Au
gusta; 3 p. m., steamer Savannah, nsar Purya-
berg.
