With his constant, cheering word. •
To hi* mission he is true; God ha* work for

gloom awi
bether listened or unheard.
God hath singers, many a one, that can praise
him ip the sun,
As the happy cherubim ;
But I think the songs they raise who are toil
ers in dark ways,
Are a sweeter sound to Him.
Not by outer jay and sweetness dogs He jodge
of life*# completeness,
But by surer test of wbrth.
It may be He give* the grace of hi* heaven’s
highest place
To thedoweftt of the earth.
shall 4VE KNOW EACH OTHER
When we bear the music ringing,
Through the bright celestial dome,
Whee street acgpl voices staging, fl .
Gladly bid us welcome'hone,
To the land of ancient glory,
Where the spirit knows- no-care;
Shall we kqmf each c^her-tl** ?
When thttbply angels meat as,
As we go to join their band,
Shall we see their dark eyes shining
On us as in days of yore ?
-Shall we ftfej their dear arms twiniag
Fondly around us as before ?
Yes, my earth worn soul rejoices,
Aod my weary heart grows light;
For the thrilling aDgel voices
And the angel faces bright,
That sluil welcome os in heaven,
Are the loved of long ago,
And to them ’tis kindly given,
Thus their mortal friends to know.
Oh! ye weary ones and lost ones,
Droop not, faint sat by tte way:
Ye shall join the loved asuHoat often, -*■
In the land of perfect day.
Harp-strings, touched by angel fingers,
Murmur iu nay raptured ear;
Ever mans tbetv sweet tone lingers, •%
We shall know each other there.
