ANTI-BALBAMIC GONORRHtKAL SOLUTION,
Warranted to curt in Five Days.
fl HIS incomparable and invaluable remedy so
1 lung known, and used with such unparrallcled
success in tho Canadas for the last 30 yeais, ap
pears to need no panegyric. Its operation upon the
human system is such that it invariably acts like
a charm, for the relief and radical cure of a certain
common and disagreeable “ills the flesh is heir to.”
This prize obtains its own name from the certain
I success which has attended il through all of its
trying circumstances, namely, “five days,”—the
same sucre's which followed it in a Northern lati
tude still obtaini in a more Southern. The formula
or recipe was obtained at great expense, Intrigue
and hazard by M. Chcvcres, from the celebrated
Indian Chief WAKENoriie, or Great Moon, whilst
he, with others was pursuing the lucrative Fur bu
siness in the North-west with the Indians. —
Wahenoshe prized highly and use it with invariable
sneress throughout his two tribes. Its known and
valued virtues have already enriched to an almost
incredible extent the children of this warlike prince,
not only hy actual sale of the article itself to in
dividuals, but by parting with copies of his receipt
at enormous prices to the Chief of eveiy tribe of
Indians in America, w ith a solemn promise to the
fircat Spirit, ncvei to divulge the “art of its com
position until he sleeps with his fathers,” although
free to use it in their respective tribes, which
places il in the hands of every Indian who rely
with, I may say, religious confidence on its cura
ble powers.
Below is a copy of the translation as near as itcan
he anglisi/ed of the deed given by Wahenoshe, to
M. Chcverct, when he purchased the original recipe,
and had twice assisted the t hies himself through
the tedious manipulatory process of manufacture.
Few white men would credit the length of time
which is consumed in preparingthe article for im
mediate use.
TRANSLATION.
“I, Wahenoshe, Chief of the nations Ottowa and
Chippewa, for the love and good feeling which 1
: have for my white friend M. Cheveret, (for he has
| done many good things for me and my people,) I
( give to him my greatest ri ire for the hud sickness
I which my children have had sent among tliem as
a punishment hy the (ircat Spirit, and hope that in
his hands it may do much good, and make him very
rich.”

almost miraculous effects of your piPs ; and 1 would ;
a id, that you may make use ol them, in connection 1
with my name, in any manner you deem proper, 1 1
i speak of their merits from experience, as 1 and my
j family have taken upwards of thirty boxes in three
years; and so great .'sc the benefits we have recerv-
i ed from them in general, that 1 would rather pm- ;
chase them at ten dollars ahox than have my house i
without them. I will not enumerate the afflictions I
they have relieved us of; but 1 can assure you they i
were many, and of very opposite natures, which .
has fully proved to me that your medicine Isa sim- |
pic purifier of the system, ami therefore equally j
the enemy of every disease. I w ill mention one i
case. 1 have a sister who had been for a long pe
riod sc crcly afflicted with dropsy in the chest and
was brought by it to the very verge of the grave.
She w as attended by the most eminent physicians
that money could procure; but all their efforts to
restore her to health, 01 even to mitigate her buffer- i
iugs were fruitless ; and accordingly, wo all consid- 1
| ered her immediate death as inevitable, by good
fortune, however, as site was in this situation, ex- 1
pec-t ng every day to bo her last, your pills were
introduced into my family, and so speedy and pal- 1
pable wore their effects that three doses visibly re- 1
lieved her, and in less than three months she was i
perfectly restored to health. This case, I and all
j who were witness of it, (but more especially the
suffering party,)considered to be the next thing to
miraculous; and yet 1 could mention many more
of an equally desperate nature, in which your pills
wore cqnady successful in rescuing the patients
from the jaws of death. Need I add that the popu
larity of your medicine amounts to enthusiasm in
this section of the country ? Hut this I presume
you know from the immense quantity yon dispose
of 1 may mention, however, that notwithstanding
its general use, I never heard an individual complain
of its effects. My residence is i‘2 miles from L a’,
cigh, on the road to Fayetteville. 1 am, with sen
timents of regard, your ob’t servant.

To Dr. Peters,- —Sir —For upward" ol fifteen
months, 1 havebern c.nelly afflicted with Fever
and Ague; and during the time could find nothing —
though I had applied to every thing that gave me
any thing like permanent relief. At length, how
ever, join-pills were recommended to me, by one
of our best ph.v sk-ians, and 1 am most grateful and
happy in being able to add, that 1 had scarcely used
two boxes when 1 found that they had restored me
to perfect health, since ti.c-u, various membe rs of
my family have used them with equal success —
and consequently I feel it my duty to apprise ymi
of the fact, and to request of you to publish this
certificate, as iam anxious to add my public testi
mony to the almost miraculous virtues of your un
rivalled medicine Respectfully yours,
i THEODORE JAMES.

your pills—four of which I administcre 1, with
such immediate happy effect that in a few minutes
my patient was at ease, and out of danger. This
