GROVER & BAKER’S
SEWING MACHINES,
K EASONS why the Grover & Bakkii
i Machine is universally preferred for family
sewing:
1. It is more simple and easier kept in order ’
than any other Machine.
2d. It makes a scam which will not rip or*
ravel, though every third stitch is cut.
3d. It sows from two ordinary spools, and thus
all trouble of winding thread is uvoided, while
the same machine can be adapted at pleasure.
by a mere change of sjml , to all varieties of work.
4th. The same machine runs .'ilk, linen thread,
and common spool cotton with equal facility.
6th. The seam is as elastic as the most elastic
fabric, so that it is free from all liability to break
in washing, ironing, or otherwise.
tJth. The stitch made by this machine is more
beautiful than any other made, cither by hand
or machino.
