The numbers from 1 to 50,000 correspon I:ng

separate slips of paper, are encircled with small
tin tubes and placed iu one Wheel.
The first 457 prizes, similarly printed and en
ciroled.are placed In another wheel.
The wheels are then revolved, and a number
is drawn from the wheel of numbers, and at the j
same time a prize is drawn from the other
wheel. The number and prize drawn out are
opened and exhibited to the audience, and regis- ]
