I' GROVER & BAKER'S
SEWING MACHINES,
K EASONS why the Gboybr A Bakkr
Machine ia universally preferred for family
sewing:
1. It is more simple and eoaier kept ,n order
than any other Machine.
* 2d. it makes a scam which will not rip or^
ravel, though every third stitch ia cut.
3d. It sews from two ordinary spools, and thus
all trouble of winding thread is avoided, while
the same machine can bo adapted at pleasure,
by a mere change of spool, to all varieties of work.
I 4th. The same machine runs silk, linen thread,
( and common spool cotton with equal facility.
6th. The seam is as elastic as the most elastic
fabric, so that it is free from all liability to break
ia washing, ironing, or otherwise.
6th. The stitch made by this machine is more
beautiful than any other made, either by hand
or machiae.
