Tho numbers from 1 to 50,000 corresponding
with those numbers on tho Tickets printed on
seperate slips of paper, are encircled with small
tin tubes and placed iu one Wheel.
Tho first 457 prizes, similarly printed and en
circled , are placed In another wheel.
The wheels are then revolved, and a number
is drawn from the wheel of numbers, and at the
I j same time a prize is drawn from the other
j wheel. The number and prize drawn out are
opened aud exhibited to the audience, aud regis
tered by the Commissioners; tho prize being
placed against the number drawn. This opera
tion is repeated until all the prizes are drawn out
