GROVER & BAKER’S
’ SEWING MACHINES.
K EASONS why the Grover & Baker
Machine is universally preferred for family
sewing:
1. It is more simple and easier kept in order
than any other Machine.
2d. It makes a seam which will not rip or
ravel, though every third stitch is cut.
3d. It sews from two ordinary spools, and thus
all trouble of winding thread is avoided, while
the same machine can be adapted at pleasure
by a mere change of sj/001, to all varieties of work
4tli. The same machine runs silk, linen threat
and common spool cotton with equal facility.
sth. The seam is as elastic as the most eiasti
fabric, so that it is free from ail liability tobrea'
in washing, ironing, or otherwise.
| 6th. The stitch made by this machine is mot
' beautiful than any other made, either by liar
i or machine.
