C., Feb. 7,1556. j Sip. : I have used your Pills in my general and | hospital practice ever since you made them, and cannot hesitate to say they are the best cathar tic we employ. Their regulating action on the liver is quick and decided, consequently they are an admirable remedy for d rangements of thut j organ. Indeed, I have seldom found a case of | bilious disease so obstinate that it did not readily I yield to them. Fraternally, yours, A 1 OXZO BALL, M. D., Physician of the Marine Hospital. Dysentery, Relax and Worms. Post Office, Hartland, Mich.. Nov. 16,1855. j Dr. Ayer : Your Pills are the perfection of j medicine. They have done my wife more good j than I can tell you. She had been sick and pin- \ ing away for months. Went off to be doctored i at great expense, but got no better. They afterwards cured her aud our two chi.drew of bloody dysentery One of our neighbors had it bad, and my wife cured him with two doses of your pills, wbih others around us paid from five to twenty dol lars doctors’ bilis. and lest much time, withou being cured entirely even then. ASA MORGRIDGE. Rheumatism, Neuralgia and Gout. From the Rev. Dr. HAWKINS, of the Metho dist Episcopal Church : Pulaski House, Savannah, Jan. 6, 1856. Honored Sir--I should be ungrateful for the relief your skill has brought mo if I dhi not re port my case to you. A cold settled in my limbs and brought on excruciating neuralgic pains, which ended in chronic rheumatism Notwithstanding I had the best of physicians the disease grew worse and worse, until, by the advice of your excellent agent in Baltimore, Dr Mackenzie. I tried your pills. Their effects wen slow, but sure. By persevering in the use ol j them I am now entirely well. Senate Chamber, Baton Rouge. La., ) j December 5, 1855. / I Dr. Aver—l have been entirely cured by your pill? of Rheumatic Gout—a painful disease that had afilicted me for years. VINCENT SLIDELL. For Dropsy, Plethora, or kindred Complaints, I requiring an active purge, they are an excellent ; remedy For Costiveness or Constipation, and as a Din-! tier nil, they are agreeable and effectual. Fits, Suppression, Paralysis, Infiatninat on. and even Deafness, and Partial Blindness, have been cured by the altorative action of these pills. Most of the pills in market contain Mercury, which, although a valuable remedy in skilful hands, is dangerous in a public pill, from the dreadful consequen os that frequently follow its incautious use. Those contain no mercury or mineral substance whatever. AYER’S CHERRY PECTORAL,. For the rapid cure of COUGHS, COLDS, HOARSE NESS, INFLUENZA, CROUP, ASTHMA, INCIPI ENT CONSUMPTION, BRONCHITIS, WHOOPING COUGH, and for the relief of consumptive pa tients iu advanced stages of the disease. We need not speak to the public of its virtues. Throughout every town, ami almost every ham let of the American States, its wonderful cures of pulmonary complaints have made it already known. Nay, few are the families in any civil ized country on this continent without some personal experience of its effects ; and lower yet the communities any where which have not among them some living trophy of its victory over the subtle and dangerous diseases of the throat and lung 3. While it is the most power ful antidote yet known to man for the formida ble and dangerous diseases of the pulmonary organs, it is also the pleasantest and safest rum edy that can be employed lor infants and young persons. Parents should have it in store against the insidious enemy that steals upon them un prepared. We have abundant grounds to be lieve the Cherry Pectoral saves more lives by the consumptions it prevents than those itcures. Keep it by you, and cure your colds whi c they ••re curable, nor neglect them until no human skill can master the inexorable canker that, fas tened on the vitals, eats your life away. All know the dreadful fatality of lung disorders, and as they know too the virtues of this reme dy. we need Dot do more than to assure them it is still made the best it can bo. Wo spare no cost, no care, no toil to produce it the most per fect possible, and thus afford those who rely on it the best agent which our skill can furnish for their cure. Prepared by Dr.J. C. AYER, Practical and Analytical Chemist, Lowell, Mass., and sold by Druggists aud Agents everywhere. my. 6 MONTMLE SPRINGS. BY L.O IT DON. THIS preparation has gained popular favor by its merits. There never has been a preparation of SARSAFARILLA COMPOUND, for general use, that has given the universal satisfaction that the Georgia Sarsaparilla gives There cannot be a preparation of Sarsaparilla, made at the North, so go d as the GEORGIA SARSAPARILLA, because the roots do not grow there to make it of. The Georgia Sarsaparilla Compound is appre ciated North because it has been tried there and found good. A good preparation of Sarsaparilla will sell well in any climate. Physicians will recommend it South because they know, by its taste and composition, there is no deception in it—its root-taste speaks the truth. Physicians know, too, that if they recom mend the diluted with sweetened water prepa rations, made at the North for Southern people, and their patients try a bottle of it, and then try a bottle of the Georgia home-made Sarsaparilla, which will do so much more good that they will bo accused, and rightly too, of not being good judges of medicines. Those ordering it must express, in their order, either SARSAPARILLA COMPOUND, or DF.NNTS’ ALTERATIVE. For sale at the South by Druggists generally.
