reports, on Sunday morning, at 8 o’clock, when off

side; saw nothing but foremast and bowsprit out of
water. It is supposed that ail on board perished
Capt. Ghurbuck, of schooner Larkin, at Provi
dence, fr itn Baltimore, spoke 20lli Dec. hit. 38,
schooner John, of Bolliwt, frem Baltimore, a com
plete wreck, rudder and nils gone, stunclieon stove,
and leaking badly, wus trying to roach the Capas nf
Philadelphia. Copt. Choi buck advised Capt. Col
son to abuudon her, but he refused.
