Middlings | was quoted at. 9 to 9 1-4 cents. The Cotton market continued active during the en tire day of Tuesday, and the total salt* reached 0,500 j bales. Prices, however, were unchanged. Prices have advanced slightly. The mar ket closed very firm. Savannah, Oct. 31. Cotton—There was a lair demand to day, the sales foot ing up 729 bales rft prices ranging from 81 to 91 cents. Nkw York, Oct. 210. The Kales of cotton in the New York market for the past three days amount to 7,200 bale#, at ail advance of from 4 to iol a cent.
