Acidity of the Stomach and „Indigestion.
—“I can eat anything after taking your Holland
Bitters,” is a remark frequently made to us.
To persons troubled with acidity of the stom- i
ach, Indigestion or any disorder of the stomach,
we would only say try it. Its world-wide repu-4*
tation, has been established alone by the many
wonderful cures it ha? effected. When used for
dyspepsia, jaundice, liver complaint, weakness of
any kind, costiveness and piles, it should be ta
ken in small doses—say half a tea-spoonful, reg
ularly three times-a day before meals.

Muscogee Presentments.^
The Socond Panel of the Grand Jurors for the
Fall Term of Muscogee Superior Court, submit
the following as the only Presentments they have
to make:
The first Panel have so fully notice*! every sub
ject at all important that wc have but little, if
anything to present.
Wo cordially endorse and approve the most of
their Presentments, aud earnestly hope that they
may receive the attention ami respect to which
their importance entitle them.
We have to dissent in only one particular from
the Presentments of the First Panel. Wc do not
thipfir active members of the Fire Co||panies of
the £ity should be held bound to serve as Jurors.
We regard this Department as of large impor
tance and value to the city, and we think that
the labor, the time, and the money expended by
the active members of these Companies is at least
an equivalent for the services of the citizens as
J urors.
The Bridges in the County have been reported
again and again as in bad condition. All of
them are unsafe, and several of them are impassa
ble. The Peggy Reid Bridge, and the Bull Creek
Bridge on the St. Mary’s Road, as also Randall’s
Bridge on the L patoie, are in a condition to xiis
graee the country, and to endanger the lives >t
travelers. The public attention has been so 4i’tcn
and to so little purpose, called to this subject that
Grand Jurors have learned to present the gnc\-
ances only as a matter of form.
We have to thank his honor Judge IV orrill. for
his kindness to our body, as also to the .Solicitor
pro. tern., J. N\ Ramsey, Esq., for his politeness
and attention.
We request that these presentments be publish
ed in the chy papers.
