The following was the verdict

Eliza Tales, at Dedham, men
tioned in our paper of the 26th
ult. —“ That we the jurors,
being under oath, do fay, that
Elizabeth Tales, here lying dead,
came to her death by means of
fundry flabs on her body, cuts
on her arms and hands, and hav
ing her threat cut, with a fmali
jack-knife ; and alfo, we do
further fay, that Jafon Tairbanks
was, probably, acceflary to the
laid murder.” —He has fince
been able to be removed to jail,
where lie is to wait Iris folemn
trial at the Supreme Judicial
court in Auguft next!

Fellow named BEN. He is re
markably well made, very black,
about five feet feven inches
high, and very intelligent: He
was purchafed by the fubfeiber
from Mr. Edmund Bacon of
this city, who bought him of
capt. John Hunton, of the town
of Wafhington, in this Hate,
where he may now probably be.
Any perfon who will deliver him
to Mr. Thomas Gardner, in
Augufb, or to the fubferiber in
Savannah, fhall receive the above
reward, and all reafonable ex
pences paid.
