including the contingent ex
pences of the feveral depart
ments and officers ; for the
compenfation of clerks in the
feveral lean offices, and for
books and ftationary for the

for the expenfes of inteicourfe
with foreign nations, for the
fupporc of light houfes, beacons,
buoys, and public piers, and
for Satisfying certain mifcclla

by law to the members of the
Senate and Houfc of Repre

For the expenfe. of fire wood,
ftationary, printing, ami all other
contingent expenfes of the two

For extraordinary contingent
expenfes of the Haufe of Re

the houfc during the prefect
fefiion, including alio the ex
penles cf the library of the two
houfes of Congrefs, and for
printing one thoufand copies of
the ccnlus of the United States,
feven thoufand dollars.
For defraying the expence of
new funvture, provided for the
houfe of representatives, one

For the compenfation to the
proficient and vice-prtTident of

ment, including therein the lum
