come to an immediate determi
nation what was proper to be
done, but that as loon as the
Secretary was able to attend in
his office, he would examine
into the fubjedf, and expreffird
generally his clifpofition to com

A plan of a moft daring na
ture to rob the vaults of this
bank, was difeovered during
the night of Friday lafl, and on
Saturday morning. About
three weeks ago, a corporal of
the city guard informed the
