Dr. J. Walker’s California Vin
egar Bitters are a purely Vegetable (
preparation, made chiefly from the nativt
kerbs found on the lower range* of the Si*'
ra Nevada mountains of California, t.
medicinal properties of which are extract
ed therefrom without the use of Alcoliol.
The question is almost dailvnsked, “What
is the eause of the unparalleled success r
Vxneoab Bitteks?” Our answer is, tin „
they remove the cause of disease, and the
patient recovers his health. They are the
great blood purifier and a life-giving prin
ciple, a perfect Renovator and Invigorator
of the system. Never before in the history
of the world has a medicine been
pounded possessing the remarkable qual
ities of Vinegar Bittebs iu healing tbfc sick
of every disease man is heir to. They are a
gentle Purgative as well as a Tonic, reliev
ing Congestion or Inflammation of the
Liver and Visceral Organs, in Bilious Dis
eases. >
If moil will enjoy cfootl health, lef.
them use Vinegar Bittebs as a medicine;
and avoid the use of alcoholic stimulants
in every form. •,
No Person cun take these Bitteri'
according to directions, aud remain long
unwell, provided their bones arc not and,
stroyed by mineral poison or other means,
and vital organs wasted beyond repair.

ing the Summer aud Autumn, and remark
ably so during seasons of unusual heat and
dryness, are invariably accompanied by ex
tensive derangements of the stomach ajj
liver, and other abdominal viscera. In tliT*
treatment, a purgative, exerting a
influence upon these various is
essentially necessary, There is no catfi&.
tic for the purpose equal to Db. J. Walkbb s
Vinegar Bittebs, as they will speedily re
move the dark-colored viscid matter with
which the bowels are loaded, at the .same
time stimulating the secretions of the
liver, and generally restoring the healthy
functions of the digestive organs.
