The question is almost daily asked, “What
is the cause of the unparalleled success oi
Vises tu Bm-Eiss?’’ Our answer is, that
they remove the cause of disease, and the
patient recovers his health. They are the
great blood purifier and a life-giving prin
ciple, a perfect Renovator and Invigorator
of the system. Never before in the history
of the world lias a medicine been‘com
pounded possessing the remarkable qual
ities of Vinegar Bixtebs in healing the sick
of every disease man is heir to. They are a
gentle Purgative as well as a Tonic, reliev
ing Congestion jr Inflammation of the
Liver and Visceial Organs, in Bilious Dis
eases. ■
If men will enjoy good health, let
them use Yinegau Bittehs b* a medicine,
and avoid the use of alcoholic stiwKllanta
in every form.
No Person can take Iheso TSilfer#
according to directions, and remain long
unwell, provided their horn s are not de
stroyed by mineral poison or other means,
and vital organs wasted beyond repair.
Oolrateful Thousands proclaim Vine

ant that ever sustained the sinking system.
Bilious, Remittent, and inter

in the valleys of our great rivers through
out the United States, especially those ot
the Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri*, Illinois,
Tennessee, Cumberland, Arkansas, Red,
Colorado, Brazos, Rio Grande, Pearl, Ala
bama, Mobile, Savannah, Roanoke, James,
and many others, with their vest tribu
Kiries, throughout our entire country dur
ing the Summer and Autumn, and remark
ably so during seasons of unusual heat and
dryness, are invariably accompanied by ex
tensive derangements of the stomach ami
liver, and other abdominal viscera. In their
treatment, a purgative, exerting a powerful
influence upon these various organs, ia
essentially necessary. There ino cathar
tic for thnpnrpose equal toDn.J. Walker’s
Vinegar Bitters, as they will speedily re
move the dark-colored viscid matter with
which the bowels are loaded, at the same
time stimulating tho secretions of the
liver, and .generally restoring the healthy
functions of the digestive organs.
Dyfipflpsia or indigestion," Read
ache,Pain in the Shoulders,Coughs,Tight

tions of the Stomach, Bad Taste in tho
Mouth, Bilious Attacks, Palpitation of tho
Heart, Inflammation of the Lungs, Pain
in the region of the Kidneys, and a hun
dred other painful symptoms, are the oft'
springs of Dyspepsia. One bottle will
prove a better guarantee of its merits than
a lengthy advertisement.
Scrofula, or King’s Evil, White

Meek, Goitre, Scrofulous Inflammations,
Indolent ItiThammations, Mercurial Affcc

Sore Eyes, etc., etc. In these, ns in all
other constitutional Diseases, Walkeb’b
Vinegab Bitters have shown their great
curative powers in the most obstinate and
intractable cases.
For liilliuiiinatory and Chronic
Rheumatism, Gout, Bilious, Remittent
and Intermittent. Fevers, Diseases of the
Blood, Liver, Kidneys, and Bladder, these
Bitters have no equal. Such Diseases aro
caused by Vitiated Blood.
Mechanical Diseases.—Persons en

or nature, are literally dug up and carried
out of the system in a short time by the
use of these Bitters
I'in.Tiipp, and oilier Worms, lurk

effectually destroyed and removed. Ng
system of medicine, -no vermifuges, uo

For Female Complaints, in young

womanhood or -,ic turn of life, these Tonio
Bitters display so decided an influence
that improvement is soon perceptible.
Jaundice. —ln all cases of jaundioo,
rest assured that your liver is not doing its
work. The only sensible treatment is to
promote the accretion of the bile and
tavor its removal. For this purpose use

Cleanse the Vitiated Blood when

through the skin in Pimples, Eruptions,

you when. Ke p the blood pure, and the
health of the syjtein will follow. q
