Thompfon, difpofed of agreeably to this Or dinance :—He 111 ill alfo, as foon as the faid hog or hogs are im pounded, advertife them at the Market Houfe, to be fold at the pound on the third day after they are taken up (Sundays ex •cepted) between die hours of •eleven and twelve ; but fliould the owner or owners of fuch hogs, apply for them within that period, then' it (hull be tile du ty of faid Marfhal to turn them our, on receiving thirty ohe and a quarter cents tor taking up and impounding, fix and one quarter cents each, per day, for k “eping them ; and fix and one quarter cents per head for ad- vertifing. .And be it further Ordained, That for the purpofes aforefaid, a public pound or enclofure, twenty feet fquare and eight feet high, fhall be built of logs, to be notched, and well pinned at the top with an inch and haif auger ; and a fubftantial door, with a double bolt padlock to the fame. OU will take notice, that 1 uid on the 24th day of January, in the year 1809, in terms of an ad of the General Affembly of the itate of Georgia, pointing out the mode of render ing void all grants, or other pro ceedings, founded upon falfe or fraudulent returns made by per- fons not entitled to draws in the late Land lotteries of the faid ftate, obtain a feire facias from the clerk of the Superior Court of Randolph county, which was made returnable to the faid court at March term, in the year afore- fai*I, which was direded to the Sheriff of Baldwin county, in which vou are charged of fiat ing caufed your name to be entered fraudulently and contrary to law, for two draws in the fecond land lottery in laid ftate, and to have drawn lot N° 63, in the 12th dittrid of faid county of Bald win, which lot now lies in the faid county of Randolph, and thatlhelaid Sheriff hath returned thereupon, that you are not to be found.—You are therefore, is well as all other perfons who may have filtered in the laid lot of land required to come forward and make yourfclves parties to the laid caufe, and tuanfwer the allegations exhibited by the laid feire facies againft you, and to fhew caufe if any you have, why the proceedings which may have been had under the faid falie or fraudulent returns, and grant it- felf, fliould not be fet aiide and made void.
