Disease of Ktomacli,.8plne and Head.
For the benefit of suffering humanity, I have

Having been severely uflUoted for several yenrs

My Dear Siri—I know you will liavetho kind
ness to Ucnr witli mu in encroaching upon your
time, while I acknowledge in behalf of myself und
wife, the obligations wo feel ourselves under to you
in having made known certain-mutters, contained
in your most invaluable Married Women's Pri
vate Medical' Companion.* It has been worth its
weight in gold to me. If I express myself rather
warmly, you will see tlmt 1 enn not do so too warm
ly, when 1 inform you*of tho extent to which l Imve,
through ir, been bcnefiwedv I will state my situa
tion when I obtained your book through tlic incr*
sity. 1 look upon it ns one of the most
fortunate events of my life J bad been married
some ten years, and wns the father of seven child
ren: I wns long struggling unceasingly, to the end
tlmt I might earn*a mudentlu competency, but the
results of my Utmost exertions nt the end left me
about where I wns at the beginning of each year ;
nnd tlmt only, with the most stinted economy, suf
ficient with barely tho necessaries of life. Finally,
this constant effort wns beginning to have its effect
upon my health; L felt less capable to o dare iti
continuance, while I felt the necessity of persever
ance.
This constant unceasing struggle on my part
was Imperative in consequence of tho prostrated
condition of my wife (with occasional intermission)
for six years, much of the time confined to hcr'bcd
and of course iucnpubic of taking the charge nnd
management*of household affairs. Her cotditlou
arose from causes of which I wns ignorant. Oh-
what would I Imve given had' I the six years to live
over again ! What would* in# wife linvo given to
have been spared 1 the long, dhys and still longer
nights psosmvtii cpn»n« UedlotfsioUness!—nll of winch
would 1 Imve been avoided, hud I then seen a copy

Rospocted Sir—Sympathy for the suffering and the
deepest gratitude towards you. induces me to send you an
account of my late lamentable condition, and the great
relief which I have experienced from your Galvanic arti
cles. For the past four years I have been afflicted with the
most dreadful and excrutiating attacks of Rheumatism.
My whole body has been aflocted, arms, limbs, bead, chest,
back, and indeed every part of my system. I have ex*
perienced more agony than 1 supposed any human being
could endure. At one time the Joint of my right log was
swollen to about three times its natural sise and the rest of
the limb was shrivelled up. This was the case when !
commenced using your GALVANIC BELT for the body
and the GALVANIC BRACELETS for tho limbs. I bad
many of the best Physicians in Charleston and clsewhare,
and I tried even* remedy I beard of or. saw in the news
papers, but all with so little benefit that I had long since
began to despair. I had boon to the Warm Springs and
the Sulphur Springs t 1 road and studied about my afflic-
tion, but with no avail What then was my Joy and grati
tude when the truth first dawned upoo me that f had at last
discovered a remedy ! I should here state that the constant
' attacks of
and repeated attacks of pain rendered me as feeble as a
child end quite helpless. It utterly incapacitated me from
business, and prostrated and deranged my whole Nervous
System. Now, on the first application of tha Galvanic
articles, I did not experience mueh cessation of tha pain,
but l began to feel differently J my strength seemed to be
regained -, my head to get clear and elasticity and buoy,
ancy to be returning. This It tvas that so agreeably sur
prised and encouraged me. But in less than a week tha
pains had also decreased, and they appeared to diminish
daily. A continuation of damp weather'eame oil and I
expected a return of the Rheumatism and Nervous Depres
sion; but no—I still continued to improve, simply using
the Belt, Bracelets and Magnetio Fluid. ThU is now over
one year since, and at thU moment of writing I believe I am
as healthy and as happy a man as thare is in Charleston
All my pains are gone; mr ** '
