nnd niter trying in vain various remedies, he pur
chased a bottle of tho Bitters, and alter using it,
was so much relieved ol his distressing malady^ that

The Practice having outlived tho prejudices which
in many instances are too justly attached to it trotn
being in the hands of ignornnt pretenders, w'.ere
it was too often found in its infancy in this co.intry,
it has been, nnd now is affording extrnordimy re
lief to suffering thousands, while cures, in tome
cases almost bordering on the miraculous, nre be
ing effected by its potent influence. The unparal
leled success it has met in the hands of Dr. Jones,
(whose course of treatment in many respects is
purely original,) has gained lor him celebrity, far
surpassing his fondest expectations, and thousands
arc rejoicing under the beucficial effects of a Prac
tice whose tendency is to hcul without any of those
disagreeable consequences which tco often follow
the eradication of ono disease by the substitution of

attacked in November, 1848, with a sevoro pain in
the back of the head, extending down the whole

tion of the left side, and rendering it perfectly help

whole system. She could not turn herself in or
out of bed, was reduced to a perfect skeleton, and
to nil appearances past the reach of remedies. But

For tho benefit ofsuffcriug humanity, I have
thought proper to lay my case before tho public.
Having been severely afflicted for several years
with a disease of tho stomach, spine nnd head—to
enumerate all tho long train of symptoms with
which I was troubled, would occupy more space
than would be interesting. Suffloo it to sav, that
frequently after eating, l would bo tnken with vio
lent and distressing sensations in the head nnd
back of my neck, extending half way down the
spine. At such times I wns compelled to tnke my
bed. These spells usunlly continued for soveral

failed to givo relief, I finally, upon Dr. Jones, loca
