f-^CoMPAMr op Mormon Emigrants from ^England reached St. Louis from New Or- lesus a few days since cn rotife for the Salt Lake. The St. Louis Republican says : We do not yet see the “beginning of the end” of the English Mormon emigration to this country. There nre now in England and Wales from 80,000 to 100*000 persons of the Mormon persuasion, who are patiently hiding their time and. chanco for n voy age to ' the Mormon home in Salt Lake Valley. ■They are aided in their efforts by well organ ized societies and agencies. Tlioy nre most ly persons of limited means, however, and twenty years hence, probably^ they will not all have reached our country. We nre in formed that the in-pouring during the coming fall will bo unusually large. ROME PRICES CURRENT. COBKECTIID W E K 11 L V BY FRANCIS M.
