T he Plantation on which the undersigned now
lives, situated in Broom Town Valley, and
lying on the main road leading through said
valley, seven miles west of Summerville in a
healthy section of country The above form,

in Cherokee. The up-lands are not No 1, but
good third quality, the most of which coutains
in all 620 acres. There are 125acres of bottom
land in Cultivation, all fresh, and well fenced
in. On the upland where I live, is a fine Freo
stone spring of water. Gin House, Screw, and
a mill in tho Gin House with two mules. I
grind 40 or 50 bushels of corn per day.
There is no healthier place in Georgia. The
society in the neighborhood is good—an acad
emy 3 mile from my house. Any person desi
rous of purchasing a body of land well adapted
to the growing of cotton or grain, would do well
to come early and look for himself. I have
made 1600 lbs of cotton per acre and $150 per
acre in com and potatoes.
