next, to continue open until the seven

ly, the fourteen lap; days of each quar
ter excepted, for the purpose of re
ceiving fubferiptiens for such parts of
the old fix per cent, deferred fix per
cent, and three per cent. Pock, as may,
on the day of fubfeription, fiarid on
the books of the said commifiioner of
loans.
Those proprietors of the old fix per
cent, and deferred flocks, who may
fubferibe, will receive in lieu thereof
anew fix per cent. Hock, equal lo the
unredeemed amount cf the Hock fur
rendered, redeemable at the pleafurc of
the United Stater, under a proviso,
however, ilia tno : mbuiFoment shall
be made except for the whole .amount
of any such now certificate of flock,
nor till afict fix months previous no
tice : and the proprietors of the three
per cent, (lock who may fubferibe,
will receive in lieu thereof, a fix per
cent, flock, equal to fixty-five per

ever, without he afifent of the holders,
