RODERIGA. ttia.r.r*—*—■■ 1 I 1 1— ■— THE Committee appointed to examine the City Marshal’s Accounts, report, that they have carefully examined the fame from the Slit of July, 3 80S, up to the 22d of August, 1307—they find by the Treasurer’s receipts he aas paid over to him 257 dollar* 31 1-4 cents, a;.d he lass received 275 dollars 46 S-i cents, leaving a balance due the city of 18 dollars 15 1-2 cents. By the report of a •dormer committee, on the feUleiront of Iris ac counts up to July the 21st, 1806, it appears that there was a balance then due the City Mar shal ol 31 collars 59 1-2 cents, after deducing She former sum, will leave a balance due the City Marshal cf 13 dollars 44 cents. We also report, he has the Treasurer’s receipt for 45 dollars 16 cents, End an account for a law fait anftituted by order of Council for 3 dollars 50 cents, which makes the balance of 48 dollars 66 cents he was to refund as goaler pro. tens. GEORGE HARRAL , BE3AMIN ANSLET, LDIVARD HARDEN, Committee. Savannah, August 25, 1807. THE Goal Committee report, that they have examined the books and ac counts of Captain M'Cail, goaler, up to June 24th, 1807, and find them correct—he holds the treasurer’s receipt for 643 dollars 23 1-2 cents, being the balance then due the city. The com mittee deem it but just to notice at this time the very excellent Mate of the goal, as it refpefis ebanikefa and comfort towards the prisoners confined, which reflets much credit on the management cf the prelrnt goaler.
