Notice is hereby given, that in con formity with the provilions of the aft ‘fupplementary to the aft, intitled “ An adt making provision for the redemp tion of the whole of the public debt of the United States,” books will be open attheofficeof thccommiffioner ofloans for Georgia, on the fir ft day of July next, to continue open until the seven teenth day of March, 1808, incleftve ly, the fourteen iaft days of each quar ter excepted, for the purpose or re ceiving fubferiptions for {.uch parts of the old fix per cent, ch feired fix per cent, and three percent, flock, as may, on the day of fubfeription, stand on the books of the said conwniffioner of loans. Those proprietors of the old fix pet cent, and deferred flocks*, who may fubferibe, will receive in lieu thereof anew fix per rent, (lock, equal to the umedeemed amount c the flock fur rendered, redeemable at the pleafore of the United States, ur.der a proviso. however, tha too rcimburfemem fhali be made except for the whole amount of any fitch new certificate cf flock, nor till after fix months previous tio tice: and the proprietors if the three per cent, flock who may fubferibe, will receive in lieu thereof, a fix per cent.
