RESOLVED, To open a Grammar School, on
this Mount, the fir ft day of next month, and that the
dirediion ofi-be committed to Brother CHARLES
O SCREVEN, until he,and the Bretl ren Ma3hali
astd Holcombe, procure a proper cbaraifler, at an an
nua! falnry of eight hundred dollars, to fix at the head
of this inliitution : and they are hereby authorifed to
employ an Afliftaiif in the School, and a Steward of
the Boarding-houfe,-*, thole mcaftirrs may become

Agreed, That pupils findingtheir own lodging, the
price of board here shall net exceed twenty dollars
per quarter, paid ;;i advance—and that but the fame
lum per year, paid quarterly, Hull he charged for
teaching, with care and accuracy, Reading, Writing,
Arithmetic, Dammar au< exercises, Geography
with the life of the Globes, Mathematics, Aslronomy,
Natural and Moral Philosophy. the Fine Ans, Logic,
and the Latin and Greek Languages.
Resolved, That this School fhal! be opened at sun
rise, and remain adlive till breakfast ; after that time,

again at two, dial 1 be continued to five o clock—and
that, ill the fchoo! and out of it, Srnoug tbofe whose
board may not be under the dirtfiiou cf this body, as
well others, the ftridtcfl attention shall be paid to
deportment and morals.

be but two vacations, of three weeks each, allowed in
this seminary • and that there shall commence on the
