The present owners not having It in their power to bestow that attention to it which a concern of such magnitude requires, are desir ous of tiling the sthole, ora purl of their Inleiv est in it, and now afftr it far so fe at a very low valuation, and muoit leu than auch a structure could be completed for. There haa just been added to It a very supe rior Met Pounding Machine, capable of dts-- charging at leut 50 tlercea of clean rice per day i snd a Corn-Mill, alt act la motion by the same engine. The 8aw-Mill is upon a new principle, b)N (he late renowned Civil Engineer, Hr. REN NIE of London,, who sent out one of Ida beat workmen to superintend its erection. It cats now cut with 48 uwa, and may be made to tlrivo twice that number. The Steam Engine ia perhaps the belt ita the United States, made by Meura. A wonderful expence lx saved in niel, u ths saw-dust from the pitch-pine ia lound lo answer instead of fire-wood, and ia carried to tha mouth of the fiirnace from the pit by elevator* now in use. The commissioners of the Navy of the Uni ted States have approved of the atop planka, furnished from it, and it la highly probable will give it a preference in future contract!. It has also been teen and justly admired in New-York and Fhlladrlphia.
