twenty-two, this cause came before the Court,
on a Mandate from the Honorable the Supreme
Gout of the United States for further proceed*
ings. Whereupon it it ordered and decreed—
That the holders of Notes of the late Bank of
the Uoited States, bring them in for payment
»t the U*e Banking House of said Bank in the
city of Philadelphia, before the eleventh day of
April, A* D. 1823, and that on that duv this
Court will rhftke a final Decree for Distribution
of the funds reserved in the hands of the de
fendants for payment of said Notes i and it is
further ordered and decreed, that the Clerk
cause this order to be published in one public,
newspaper in each of the following places, to

those tracts of land, containing three hundred
acres in Efllnghum county, state aforesaid, on a

The Steam Engine ia perhaps foe beat iu

erected under the inspection of their beat fore
man, aent out expreanly for that purpose.
A wonderftd expence ia saved in foci, as thr
saw-dust from the pitch-pine is found to answer
inatcad of fire-wood, add ia carried to the
mouth of the furnace from the pit by elevator
now in use.
The Rice Machine ia also on a new prineiple
and found by experience to answer better than
any yet in use. The quickness and regularity
of the movement; producing it of a superior
brightness without creaking the grain.
The mill is situated on a fine Creek, called
Cat-Head, on a branch of the Altumuha River,
and only about half a mile from Darien.
Vessels, whose diaught of water enables
theK. to go to the wharf at Darien, can load at
the Mill, only a short distance off', with great
facility \ as an enclined plane tVym the mill, will
enable them to receive the lumber into their
bow ports, almost without expence: and the
mill, as now in operation, can furnish 40 M. feel
if plank per day, which may be increased if
found necessary i the power being amply suffi
cient.
The lumber sent from this establishment since
it went into operation has been allowed to be
superior in quuiity and regularity in auwing.
I he commissiotiers ol -tlie Navy of the Uni
ted States have approved of the ihip planks,
furnished from it, and it is highly prohuble will
give it a preference in future contracts.
It has also been seen and justly admired in
New-York and Philadelphia.
