The deeds under which Mr Ohristic claims
ui exclusive right to all the real and per
sonal estate of Cnrnochnn & Miichel, are
considered as informal, unjust and illegal,
Hence they have been brought and are still
before the court, and other deeds have
'een executed and recorded, conveying
the property for the use of all their credit-
ol h, Mr Christie included, without any trust
or reservation beneficial to C. WM. or their
families; and if this be not agreeable to that
gentleman, St must nevertheless appeal
fair and equitable to the public and all who
uivc a sense of justice.
The Trustees under the l\te deeds are
anxious to sell the Lands in Florida, alluded
to in the notice of Mr Christie, and to ap
ply the proceedstothe immediate payment
of part of his demand, and deposit u suffi
ciency thereof to cover all hio claim, sub
ject to the decision of the court—but bis
opposition to any reasonable sale, us one in
terested in his own right, whilst injuring

executed to him his two several bonds, in
the penal sum of I wo hundred dollars each,
conditioned for the payment of one hun
dred dollars each, on tlfe firH days of Ja
nuary, in the years ol our Lopj one thou
sand eight hundred and twenty one, and
one thousand eight hundred and twenty-
two ; und for the better securing the pay
ment thereof,the said John Conner on the
said twenty-seventh day ot July, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty, did make his certain deed
of mortgage, whereby he mortgaged
•to him, his heirs, executors, administra
tors, and assigns, all that piece or par
cel of Land, containing three hundred
acres more or less, being the South East
end of a four hundred acre tract of land,
originally granted to William MTntosh, si
tuate lying and being on the south side of
the Great Satilla Uiver and waters thereof,
in the county of Camden, and State afore
said ; and which, by a chain of conveyances
became the property of the raid John M'

W HEREAS I have been informed that
John Carnochan and Peter Mitchell
of this city have by sundry deeds recently
mortgaged and assigned to clivers persons
either their individual creditors, <;r< ditovs
of the late firm of Carnochan & Mitciiell,
or others, all nr sundry the property and
estate, both veal and personal, of the said'
firm, as well as their own individuM pro
perty and estate, consisting together of
houses, lots, lands, stores, wharves, negrops,
&c. in Savannah and Da ten in Georgia, or
the neighborhood thereof, and elsewhere*
with their interest or share in the stock
of the lower steam mid near Darien, and
sundry shares iu the United Stales Bank
and other banks,-as well as sundry debts
due • to them in various places, besides
lamia, lots, negroes, Stc. in-the territory of
Florida, and particularly one large tract of
land bought of Forbes U -^Go. lying be
tween the rivers St. Marks and Apalachi
cola in the territory of-Florida aforejuid.

I was taken in September with fever
and ague, and the bloody flux soon follow
ed, which left me with a chronic diarrhoea*
I put up with Capt. Negus, in Rochester,
and sent for Dr. Vought,. who put me un
der the influence of bis Ami-Dysenteric
Medecine. I paid all attention to his di
lections for three days, and was perfectly
relieved and free from fever. I took some
of the medecine ,on board of the vessel,
and have witnessed the good effects with,
all who used it l advise all captains ofv^
sols to keep this medicine on board, aj;
they will find it a valuable remedy in '
