A remarkable cure for
R heumatism s by the use of Dr. jebb’s
Rheumatic Liniment.
Copy of a Utter!!
•CiiAUUEsrowN, (Mass.) June 23,1827.
To the Proprietor of Dr. Jelib’s Liniment,
Dear Sir—I deem it a duty 1 mvo to suf
fering humanity, to acquaint you, and through
you the public, (should you think host) of the
unexpected and surprising cure performed on
myself by the use of the above most excellent
Medicine. I have been for more than thir
ty years, and sometimes most severely, uf
dieted with the Rheumatism ; have been fro.
quently rendered perfectly helpless, and in
consequence confined to mv bed, when it hus
required two persons to move me, being in
such extreme pain ; I have several time been
under tho care of the most eminent physic
ians, but procured only temporary relief. I
one day noticed the advertisement of Dr.
Jebb’s Liniment, with the testimonials ac
companying it, and was induced to try a hot-
tie, which I used without much sensible ben
efit, 1 concluded, however, to persevere, and
bought another bottle, and was greatly re
lieved, and by the use of half the third buttle,
was wholly cured, and have never since had
a return oftho pain, which 1 had not been
from a month at a time for thirty years, and
it is now more than throe years since lwas
cured, I would most earnestly advise every
person suffering under this painful complaint,
not to despair Qf a cure so long as they can
obtain “ Dr. Jebb’s Liniment-’ You arc at
liberty to make any use of tins you may think
advisable.
Most respoctfully yours,
CALEB SYMMES.
To the foregoing testimony, many other
unquestionable proofs might he added, in fa
vour ofthc superior Liniment of Dr. Jebb.—
Nothing but a fair trial, which the proprietor
confidently solicits, can give an adequate idea
of its unrivalled efficacy, in mitigating, and
thoroughly mastering, tile excruciating dis
ease, to which it lias been successfully ap
plied in a multitude of cases. The opera
tion of the Liniment is often immediate; and
it has frequently cured rheumatic affections
of years standing, in four ami twenty hours.
It is also recommended with confidence, as
one of the best applications known for stiff
ness of the joints, numbness, sprains, and
chilblains. Price'50 cents.

long since, rendered them places ol'extensive
resort, both by invulida and persons of fashion.
And the signal benefits derived from '.heir use
by persons laboring under Clm.pic diseases
(especially of the digestive organs) Imve ob
tained for them well merited celebrity—and
from a pretty accurate analysis, by gentle
men of competent science, comparing the
result with the analysis of the Waters of
Sarn.togn und Ballston, aw published by Dr.
Mead, they find the waters of the Montpelier
Spring to possess, with a trifling excep
tion the same chemical qualities. Ah u cha
lybeate con aiding more Iron than the former
und lers than the latter, with a large propor
tion of the nuiriaK s of soda and limn ; the
most striking difference being the absence of
uncontbined fixed air, with which the Sarato
ga water abmmdH. Of the beneficial appli
cation of tliis water in disease, t.be proprietor
is enabled to hear ample testimony.
In chronic affections of the Liver, Spleen,
and their concomitant functional derange
ment of the Stomach ; lie can confidently as
sert that he has seen no remedy of equal
value. In dyspepsia, that Hydra of modern
times, it is an invaluable remedy, when aided
as every rem edy must be, by tho temp rate
use of u well selected regimen. In diseases
oftho skin, and particularly Tetter in all its
variety, it is u certain remedy. In dropsies
from visceral obstructions, crhonic rheum <-
tisni, und that relaxation and debility conse
quent upon a residence in low, unhealthy
situations, its value is not easily estimated.
Abundant testimony t mild he produced to es
tablish the truth of this statement, were it
necessary ; hut an intelligent community will
make the experiment aud decide for them
selves; and with their award the prop ietor
will cheerfully rest the reputation of the
Spring.
The undersigned assures the public Mint he
would not tins recommend the use of the
Montpelier Water, hut having Uton extensively
engaged in tie practice of medicine in Geor
gia for nearly thirty years, claims the right
to judge of the remedy lie recommends.
This fountain ih situated in one of the most
healthy and best improved situations of Geor
gia, seventeen inileH from Mncon, near the

His building is large, airy and comfortable,
situated on An eminence, high mid comman

water, and refreshed by un atmosphere pure
and invigorating.
The proprietor will bo able to accommo
