Facts In Plain Words.
Through the columns of this paper we
wish to speak in plain words concerning
our goods and prices. Having secured a
new and seasonable stock under ad
vantageous circumstances, wo feel confi
dent we arc in a position to effer actual
bargains. Our business is divided into
four departments: CLOTHING, FUR
NISHING goods, HATS, and men's
fine SHOES. We carry the largest and
most complete line of clothing to be found
in North Georgia- If you will come to
see us, we will fit you out in clothes that
will suit your p rson, your business, and
your purse. It m Aters not whether you
are a professional, a business, or a labor
in t m:.n, rich or poor, old or young, lean
or fat, white or black, we have what
you want. For stylish, pcrfcct-fi'ting,
well made, genteel clothing, we are
acknowledged headquarters; so, if you
desire to appear in becoming garments,
suitable for your share, style and associa
tions, we should ba pleased to have you
give us a chance to aid you. We start
pt ices on ready made suits as low as five
dollars, ar.d from that on up to thirty .
dollars, naming prices of course conveys
no idea of the suits, nor any description
we could give; you must see them in
order to be convinced.
We keep everything that men and
boys wear, from the crown of the head i
to the sole of the feet; not a few sizes, or ,
a small variety, but each department, is a
complete store. Our stock of HATS this
season is immense. We have span d
neither pains nor expense to secure all
the latest styles, shapes and colors. This
department is one in which we take great
pride, and it is a fact well known that we
retail more HATS than any three houses
in Rome. In underwear, shirts, collars,
and cuffs, we excel in style, in variety and
low prices. We most earnestly invite
inspection and comparison. Come to see
us, whether you wish to buy or not.

There is nothing in the line of magic
