following reasons—at his fraudu
lent sale in 1812, that he had in
m my opinion to defraud his just
creditors, his brother being the
principal one ; 1 went to laid faie
determined not to bid for any ar
ticles. when said Brooks Ordered
hit. wife out of one of his chairs
and fiie very lusty ; at their request
I bid in to the amount of forty-nine
dollars eighty-seven and a half c’ts.

sold to Nathaniel Balev his Land
