T HE Trustees of tho Forsyth Male aud Fe-
male Academy respectjplly inform the pub
lic, that they have engaged for tho ensuiug year
tho services of Messrs. Parsons and Holmes,
gentlemen of distinguished litcrpn acquirements,
strict-moral doportmeut, and experfeneod instruc
tors of youth. From tho advantageous location
of Forsyth, being situated on a high and healthy
ridge, about twenty five miles west of .Macon, nud
midway between the Montpelier and Indian
Springs, about fifteen miles from each, together
with the dense and wealthy population of Mon-
roo_ county, wo flatter .ourselves /hat by proper
nsridnity and .veil directed effort and manage
ment, to rear up an institution which in point of
character and usefulness will vie with any of the
kind in tho State. There will be completed by
the 2d Monday in January, at which time the in-
atituiious will open, a jveat academic building, sit
uated in a retired and beautiful grove, and on an
elevated spot of ground, containing sixteen acres

The Fcranle department will be furcishcd by
Mr Parsons with nn accomplished instructress,
and will at all times bo subject to his inspection

Macou Bridge, between the hours of ten and three

proscribed bp the General Assembly of this state
