N the first- day of .this month there took
place a tremendous storm at Thomaston,
which is found to have extcnuoc wide and far,
and fo have done much damage—* wing to which
the itinerant agents employed to se il tickets could
not arrive in time, aud the drawing of the Uuion
Hotel Property Lottery could not take qk.ee on
the 2d inst. As there is considerable stock yet
to dispose of, the Proprietor thinks it best to have
the drawing when the stock is sold, or most cer
tainly tho first day of January next: this will
give him time to sell the balance of the tickets.
Messrs. Sultinarsh & Overton start a fine Post
Coach Union Liuc, to leave Alacon and Column
bus, on the first Mouday hi April next, and meet
