I11 the village of Cullodens, there is set
before youths as little temptation to folly and
vice as perhaps in any other in the State, a
matter which tho Trustees regard of much im
portance and well deserving the consideration of
parents and guardians, for it frequently happens,
while youth from home is imbibing' knowledge,
influenced by surrounding circumstances, they
drink in folly and vice to such ait extent, that
thfeir schools instead of having been a blessing,
constitute the most promiueut curso of ilieir

From these considerations the trustees present
