some years constant and laborious observation in
practice ; he believes himself to .have nrrived at a
correct knowledge of the state of the human sys
tem which operate.- as tho cause of dropsy in all
its usual forms. His views in this respect, are
indeed quite different from the scholastic ihenry
of dropsy, though strictly pathological, lie feels
more and more confirmed of their correctness,
from the superior success which attends the ap
plication of medicine according to his principles.
For the last seven years, ho has confined his
i practice exclusively to dropsical subjects, and
lias lied the satisfaction to see his intellectual
efforts crowned by the most happy results! Ma
ny persona during this period have beep cured
by bis discovery, who were despaired of. fir.t!i Uy

Standing thus insulated, ivith a remedy in his
hand, which he believe, (apd in this belief bo is

at any time labor under this disease, to exhibit
his remedy to the world, in the lorm of patent
