Fifty Dollars Rcicard.
R ANAVVAY from the subscriber’s plantation in
the 12lh district of Houston county, on Satur
day night last, two negro fellows of tile following des
criptions, one by the name of TONEY, (calls himself
Toney Griffin.) his complexion rather yellow, about 3
feet 2 or 3. inches high, lias a remarkable scar on his
cheek bone under his left eye, between 40 and 50 years
of age. The other fellow JACK or John Vance, has a
very dark complexion, voice very fine and quick, his
left thumb much sjhorter than the other and bends
down, about 30 or40 years old, but if questioned, will
say he is 50, abouto fcetS inches high. The latter de
scribed fellow lias a wife in Newbern, N. C., by the
name of Elizabeth Vance, and will doubtless endeavor
together with Toney to get to Newborn. The above
reward will be paid for their apprehension and confine
ment in some Jail so that I get them, or 925 for either.
