complete order. A superior new Steam Boat
called ‘-David Crockett” with two powerful Engines,
and several fir»t rate freight boats have been built since
the close of the last season and placed on the line.

will ply regnlaily between Darien and Macon, one of
them leaving Darien about once a week with freight
boats in tow.

T HE effects of the late firm of Kimberly & Chis
holm having been turned over to the subscriber,

ments to make will therefore call on those gentlemen
for the purpose, as no other person has any right to
give discharges or receive balances.

I’he Company have now building a new Steamboat,
with ten new tow boats, all of the best materials and
expressly adapted to the navigation of the Qcmulgee
and Altamaha rivers. These in. reased facilities will
afford the Company the means of giving despatch to
goods intended for the interior, and will furnish in
ducements for merchants west of the Ocinulgee river
to ship their goods by tie way of Darien and Macon.
There are five first rate Packets running regular be
tween New York and Darien, which come to Hawes
and Mitchell, the apents for the Macon Steamboat
Company.
