rp AKE this method to inform the merchant, and public generally, in the interior of Georgia, that

that goods forwarded by the way ofDarien is the cheadest for merchants of the interior of the State, and
the roost expeditious route. The Company have the following new and fine Steam-boats, all commanded
by first rate Captains, to wit:

ers. The J. Stone isaside wheel boat, low pressure engine, carries 700 bales of Cotton, rnns regularly 3
times a week between Savannah and Darien. The Steam-boat Chiefti in is a new side wheel boat^ani' will
carry 5 to G00>ales of cotton, to run regularly between Savannah and Hawkinsvillc, and goto Macon, du
ring the time of fall rivers. The uteom-boats Excel and Superior will run regularly betwee* Darien and
Macon, towing two boats each; and one of the Steam-boats will leave Darien regularly every 5 or 6 days:
the usual time of passage up is 5 to 6 days.
The Macon Steam-boat Company Line are connected will; the line of seven packets running regularly
from New-York to Darien. R. M. Demill, 186, Front Street, New York, is the Agent for the line of pack
ets, and Hawe^s, Mitchell & Colli.vs the Agents of the packets at Darien. The Agents of the Macon

exertion to facilitate the interest of those who may ship by their line boats.
