This house is put in good repair, and it as safe as the other from fire, ami they regret that in their cir cular they designated Hamilton A Reynold's Ware-House as the one to be occupied by them, but trust this notice will reach their friends in time to prevent mistakes in the deli very of Cotton. They feel it their duty to slate lie follow ing circumstances: in July last they leased of the proprie tors ihe first named property—took possession, and expect ed to occupy it throughout the season. Early in August an execution against the owners was levied on it, and on Tues day last it was sold by the sheriff, and notwithstanding the subscribers bid liberally for it, they were out bid by a com pany—who is now in possession. ACT to alter and cliarce the third and seventh sec tions of the first article of the Constitution. Whereas, the third section of the first article of the Con stitution of this State declares, that the Senate shall be o- lected biennially, on tbo first Monday in November, un til such day of election be altered by law; and shall be composed of one member from each county, to be chosen by the electors thereof: RE AS » the seventh section of the first nrticle of the Constitution ofthis State declares, that ti e House of Representatives shall be composed of members from nil the counties which now are. or hereafter may be inclu- aed within this State, according to their respective num ber of free white persons, a&d including three-fifths of the people of color; the actual enumeration shall be made within two years, and within every subsequent term of seven years thereafter, at such time and in such manner as this convention may direct. Rack county containing three thousand persons, agreeably to the foregoing plan of enumeration, shall he entitled to two members; seven thousand, to three members; and twelve thousand to four members; but each couuty shall have at least one, and not more than four members; the representatives shall be chosen annu&'ly on the fim Mopday in November, until such day of election be altered by law.
