Whf.hk.4.s the third sertion of the first article of the Con stitution of this State declares, that the Senate shall be e- lected biennially, on the first Monday in November, un til such day of election be altered by law; and shall be composed of one member from each county, lo be cjioaen by the electors thereof: Aj?d Whereas, the seventh section of the first article of the Constitution of this St a', o declares, that the House of Representatives shall be composed of members from aU the counties which now ore or herenfter may be inclu ded within this State, according to their respective num ber of free white persons, and including three-fifths of the people ofcolor; the actual enumeration shall be made within two years, and within every subsequent term of seven years thereafter, at such time and in such manner as this convention may direct. Kacli county containing three thousand persons, agreeably to the foregoing plan of enumeration, shall be entitled to two members; seven thousand, to three member.; and twelve thousand to four members; hut each county shall have at least one, and not more than four members; the representatives t hall be chosen annually on the fim Monday in November, until such day of election be altered by law'. .Until the afore said enumeration shall be made, the several counties shall be entitled to the follow ing number of representa tives, respectfully:—Camden, 2; Glynn, 2; Liberty, McIntosh, 2; Bryan,!; Chatham, 4; Ktlingham, 2; Scri- ven. 2; Montgomery, 2; Burk/?.
