ttaddeu Colds and Coughs are cored by them in a few
hours.
Several thousand boxes have been said within the last
few months, restoring to health persons in almost e«eij stage
of Pulmonary afijectiona ard these laboring under the most
distressing Colds and Coosrhs. They do not rlieck and dry
up the cough, but render it es»y. promote expectoration, re
lieve congestion, allay the tilling or irritation, and remove
the proximate or exciting cause. They are made from a
combination of the most valuable expectorant, or Cough
Medicines, and are nndorbiedly superior to every thing in
use forthsse complaint/. Hundreds upon hundreds ol cer
tificates have been nflVred of their wonderful virtues, from
those who, it is justly thought, have been saved from an un
timely grave, and restored to perfect health, by using them.
Death itself has already deprived of life its h undreds and
its thousands, wh/m this valuable medicine might have aa-
ved. if it had only been taken in time. How important it is,
then, that everyindindual should attend to the coring of n
Cough, which has such a powerful tendency l» undermine
the constitutvm before the least danger is suspected. Ade-
lay of a few rlsya often proves fatal. No medicine will be
found snot* efficacious than these Lozenges; they are as
pleasant tothe taste es sugar Candy.. •.' .

CINE ever discovered. It is estimated, that, in the U—
aited States, one hundred thousand children die an-
NUALt.T. FROM THE EFFECT OF WORMS ALONE. This vast
inortaliry can be almost entirely prevented, by the use of
hull’s i'Ki,i:n!t.ttjei> IiOzhkobm.
Grown petsons are very often afflicted with Worms, nnd
are doctored for various conplaints, without any benefit;
when one or two doses of the Lozenges would speedily cure
them. TI.ey are nn infallible remedy, and so pleasant t<
the taste, that children will take them aa readily as they
would a common peppermint lozenge.
Thousands aud tens of thousands pine away and die of
WoRHS. without suspecting the real disease. The follow
iug are a few of the symptoms—Headache, pale lips, flush
ed cheeks, disturbed dreamt, feverishness, thirst, bad taste
in the mouth, offensive breath, itching of the nostrils, pain in
the stomach, nausea, unnatural appetite, swelled stomach or
limbs, sense of some thing rising an the stomach, Ac.
To parents we say, do not be without these Lozenges at

Read the following from Mrs. Wm. Phidips. who lias

Messrs. A. B. Sands A Co.—Sirs:* Most gratefully do
I embrace this opportunity for staling m you the great relief
I untamed from tne use of your Sarsaparilla. 1 shall also
be happy, through yos, to publish to all who are afflicted
SI I lately was, the arcnur.tof my unexpected, and even lor
j long time despaired of cure. Mine is a painful story, and
trying and sickeuing as is tbe lisrrstive of it. fur the sake ol
many who may be so surely relieved. I will briefly yet ac
curately state it.
Nineteen yeariagnlast April, a fit of sick ness left me with
an Erysipelas eruption. Dropsical collections immediate!
took place over the entire suiluceofmy body, causing sucl
id enlargement that it was necessary to add a yard to my
dresses a round the waist. Next followed upon my limbs,
ulcerspaiul'u!beyond description. Foryears.botb in sum
mer and winter, the only miiigalion of my sufferings was
found in pouring opnnilioie pans cold water. From .ny
limbs the pain extended over my whole body—there wai
literally forme no rest, by day nr by night. Upon lying
down, these pains would snoot through my system and com
pel me to arise, and for hours together, walk the house, so
that I w as almost entirely deprived pi sleep. During this
time the Erysipelas continued active, and the ulcers enlar
ged, and so deeply have these eaten, that for two and a half
year/they have been subject to bleeding. During these al
most twenty years 1 have consulted many physicians. These
have called my disease—as it was attended with an obstinate
cough and a teady and active pain in my aide—a dropsical
consumption ; and* though they havebeeu skilful practition
ers. they wc e only able to afford my case a partitl and tern
porarr relief Iliad many other difficulties toa complies
led to describe. 1 have also used manvnftlie tne ticines
that have been rec •mmended as infallible cures for this dis
ease, yet these all tailed, and I was most emphatically
growing worse. In this critical condition, given up by friends
and expecting for myself relief only in death. I was by the
kind interposition nf Providence, furnished with your, lo
me. invaluable Sarsaparilla. A single bottle gave me an
assurance of health, which for twenty years I bad not once
felt. Upon taking the second my enlargement diminished,
and in twelve days from the 6th of October, when 1 com
menced taking your Sarsaparilla. 1 was able to enjoy sleep
and rest by night as refresLing as any I ever enjoyed when
in perfect health. Besides, I was iu this short time, relie
ved from all those excruciating and unalleviated pains that
had afflicted my days, as well as robbed me of my night’s
repose. The ulcers upon my limbs are healed, the Erysi
pelas cured, A my size reduced nearly to ray former mcai-
ure.
Thus much do I feel it a privilege to testily to tbeefficacy
of your health restoring Sarscparilla. A thousand thunks,
sirs, from one whn^e comfort and whose hope of future
health are due under God, toyonr instrumentality. And
may the same Providence that directed me to your aid,
make the happy acd honored instrument* of blessing Jtbers,
as diseased nnd despairing as vnur much relieved and very
grstefulfriend. ASBNATH M. PHILLIPS.
