ble on the 15th of the same month. Let tho voice of
the Empire State of the South be heard. Let the
people who are to be affected by whatever action en
sues, elect their representatives to a Slate Conven
tion and when that body meet public opinion will
have been consolidated and the decision of the Con
vention will bind the State. Any other course would
result in division and non-action. To the State wo
owe allegiance-first and last and whatever its deter
initiation may be every good and loyal citizen will
