The receipts of cotbon at this p rt from all
sources the past week were 2.394 bales of uu

the table of visible supply, as made up by cable
and telegraph for the Financial and Commer
cial Chronicle to April 19. The continental
stocks, as well as those for Great Britain and the
afloat, are this week's returns, and consequently
all the Europe in figures are brought down to
Thursday evening. But to make the totals the
complete figures for April 19 we add the item of
exports from the United States, including in it

transacted in wheat to-day, and the feeling wa
unsettled. The opudng for July was
lower. The early decline was attribut, dto fair
soiling. This lot prices eao* off gr adually, but
where the inside price was reached, better bill -
ing checked the decline, eauMug a reaction and
stronger feeling. Around 79c for July there
was quite ane Tort made to prev*nt the market
going higher, out there wa sufficient demand
to carry prices over that figure. Later free
off-‘rings created weakness and the a ivanee was
