The Norwegian bark Hans Nielsen
Hauge cleared yesterday for Christiam,
with 2,631 barrels of rosin. The cargo was
shipped by the S. P. Shotter Company.
The Italian bark Nord America cleared
yesterday for Genoa with 3,070 barrels of
rosin and 200 casks of spirits turpentine.
The cargo was shipped by the S. P. Shot
ter Company.
The Spanish steamship Miguel M. Pinil
los, from Barcelona, via Havana, arrived
at the Savannah quarantine station yes
terday. She is chartered by Jose M. Es
teve & Cos. to load cotton at this port for
Barcelona and Genoa.
The British steamship Ormidale cleared
I yesterday for Bremen with 10,957 bales of
cotton, valued at 3374,409.
The British steamship Scarsdale cleared
yesterday for Bremen with 6,457 bales of
cotton and 1,500 barrels of rosin.
The schooner Douglass Gregory, Capt.
Stilwell, from Philadelphia, arrived yes
terday with a cargo of coal consigned to
Bond, Harrison & Cos.
The schooner Napoleon Boughton, Capt.
Stiles, from New York, arrived yesterday
with a cargo of cotton bagging consigned
to the agent of the Central of Georgia
railroad.
The schooner Ida Lawrence, Capt.
Campbell, from Baltimore, arrived yester

the agent of the Central of Georgia rail
road.
Capt. Charles N. Haines has broken the
record for the heaviest tow from sea. Yes
terday morning the tug Cynthia, of which
te is master, picked up the schooner Na
poleon Boughton, off Martin’s Industry
lightship, and while towing the vessel in
ran across the schooners Ida Lawrence
and Douglass Gregory, bound for Savan-

brought to the city. All three of the
