Nicely is now a free man, while Mrs. Nicely is—no body knows exactly where. Jerry has been taken into tbe employ of Nicely, and made his appearance on Sunday witlr more “spondulix” in his packet than lie has lied before in a whole year. Jerry is now a lion among his compeers, who brag upon him as the man who stumped one judge and nine attorneys. . Jerry is as honest at the day is long. All tho “spondul ix” he has got are richly earned. Long may he wave! The Long Patls. The autocrat of the Breakfast Table is in a happy vein this mouth. It seems he proposed to the sweet young schoolmistress, and was accepted It was done on Boston common, thus : It was on the common that wo were walking.
