in the state, and loved by all who know him, his writings are more
effective and more appreciated than If they had come from anyone else
who was not so well known. The wide and varied experience he has
had the past thirty years has enabled him to give the breeders informa
tion that only comes by actual experience. Uncle Dudley has been
placed at the head of this organization as president, and you can rest
assured that nothing will be tolerated in connection with this show
that is not absolutely fair, square and legitimate. It is is to be hoped
that by conducting a show absolutely on these lines and strictlj ac
cording to the American Poultry association rules, that it will set a new
mark for the poultry shows all over the country. Uncle Dudley will be
on band at all times during the show, and will look after the interests
of the association and will leave nothing undone to see that every rule
and regulation is carried out to the letter. The state is fortunate in
having such a man as he at the head of one of its leading poultry as
sociations
Col. Joseph M. Warden, (editor of the Poultry Department of the
Atlanta Constitution) who is vice president of this association, is one
of our best poultry writers, and his writings have been read with much
interest and have been worth thousands of dollars in benefltting his read
ers over the entire country. Mr. Warden is an old breeder, and has
produced manv prize winners in years past and is still breeding and
showing his valuable birds at some of the Jeading shows. He will be
present during this show, and all who have read after him will cer
tainly be delighted to meet him in person. He is enthusiastic, and is
one of the successful breeders of the south —not on a large scale, but
mostlv for his own amusement and pleasure as well as the pront n ,
derives from same. He will leave nothing undone to assist in arrang
ing this show to entertain his friends and readers, and will be delighted
to see everv one of them during this show. Mr. Warden has left noth
ing undone to make this a great show, and a feature of educational
value, and he will be delighted in showing fully the forking of the
government demonstration exhibit, which will be ,n ful J. for ®®
the entire period of the show. No reader of the Constitution can
not to meet Mr. Warden and have at least a few moments chat with
him. as the readers of his paper swear by him, and have received great
benefits from his teachings, through the columns of his P ft P e n-

Smoke of herbs
Cures Catarrh.
A Simple, Safe, Reliable Way and
It Costs Nothing to Try.
This preparation of herbs, leaves,
flowers and berr.es (containing no to
bacco or habit-forming drugs) is either
smoked in an oidinary clean pipe or
smoking tube, and by drawing' the
medicated smoke into the mouth ana
innaling into the lungs or sending it
out through the nostrils in a peifectiy
natural way, the worst case of Catarrh
can be ei ad Seated.
It is not unpleasant to use, and at the
same .time it is entirely harmless, and
can He used by man, woman or child.
Just as Catarrh is contracted by
breath.ng cold or dust and germ-laden
air, just so this balmy antiseptic smok
ing remedy goes to all the aftected
parts of the air passages of the head,
nose, throat and lungs. It can readily
be seen why the ordinary treatments,
such as sprays, ointments, salves,
liquid or tablet medicines fail—they
do not and can not reach all the as- :
tected parts.
If you have catarrh of the nose,
throat or lungs, choking, stopped-up
feeling, colds, catarrhal headaches; it
you are given to hawking and spitting,
this simple yet scientflc treatment ,
should cure you.
An illustrated book which goes thor
oughly into the whole question of the
