looting Taxes in the city of Savannah and for
other purposes.
Be it further ordained by the authority, aforesaid,
Tlmtfrom and after the passage of this ordinance
a Tax of Five Dollars shall be levied upon every
Saddle Horse, Mare or Gelding used as such,
and a Tax of three dollars be levied on every dog
which dog so returned taxed, shall fie distin
guished by a collar, with the owners name on it,
which distinction shall be a protection to the dog
ao wearing it.
