On Sunday Morning last, a large boat,
(Containing two men, was upset in the
I East River, opposite the Penitentiary.
| They drifted up the river, clinging to the
' side of the boat, and crying for assistance,
till they were taken up, nearly exhausted,
at about half past three o’clock, at the
mouth of Ilarlann. river, by Mr Samis,
proprietor of the Hurl Gate ferry. Thus
the cries, which raised in the mind of a
, writer in the Gazette of Monday, an idea
; that murder had been committed at Ilurl
i Gate, arc satisfactorily accounted for.
